Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN) Update: PAFN’s Cars and Coffee Event
PAFN is proud to host our first Cars and Coffee, an inclusive all-ages community event that will bring people together around a shared love of cars in support of Meaningful Inclusion. For autistic individuals who love cool cars, they’re more than just a passion- they’re a source of joy and connection. In fact, the inspiration for this event comes directly from one of our community members, whose young son has a special interest in cars and attends many cars and coffee events throughout the year.
Cars and Coffee isn’t just about beautiful vehicles and isn’t just another car event—it’s a community-powered morning of cool cars, great coffee, and real impact. It’s about creating a welcoming, inclusive sensory-sensitive space where autistic individuals and their families feel seen, valued, and inspired. It’s about community partners like you coming together, showing your support for autistic families across BC, and helping raise critical funds for programs that change lives.
This community-focused car meetup is on June 1, 10 am-12 pm, at our Autism Hub-3688 Cessna Drive, Richmond, BC. Besides showcasing cool cars from car enthusiasts across the Lower Mainland, we’ll be serving up coffee from Paper Planes Café, our one-of-a-kind inclusive training café staffed by autistic and other neurodivergent individuals. Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated to support program and services for autistic individuals and families across BC.
