Vision

Improve communications by opening channels with relevant, accessible content for the purpose of informing and engaging positive community connection and transparency amongst SICA, primary Sea Island stakeholders and the Burkeville community.

Responsibilities

• Production of the Sea Island Times periodical newsletter to communicate information to and from the community

• Development and maintenance of online and digital communications (eg: websites, Facebook profile, etc.)

• Development and maintenance of internal/external communication channels

• Explore ways to connect with the community through technology and other means

• Connect with and support other SICA committees and outside agencies to assist in communicating, marketing and promoting relevant information to the Burkeville community. 

• Maintain physical signs and public messaging. (ie: Read-O-Graph, Bulletin Board, etc.)

• Identification of residents-interest only vs public consumption content. 

• Engage with the Burkeville community to collect information and ideas (eg. surveys, info booths, town hall meetings)
