According to our Constitution the The purposes of the Society are:

• a) To operate and maintain, in conjunction with the Richmond Municipal Council, the Sea Island Community Hall for the benefit of all Sea Island residents.

• b) To promote interest in the educational, cultural, social and recreational endeavours of the community.

• c) To promote the interests of the residents of the Sea Island in Municipal and Community affairs and to provide a forum therefore.

Earlier this year, we held a Board Development session where we also developed our greater purpose statement:

“We improve Sea Island life for the community by bringing people together, being a voice for the community, and influencing programs & projects. We are neighbours who get things done.“
