YVR Update: Upcoming Templeton Multiuse Path Landscaping Activities

As we look towards fall, we would like to to let you know that we are having some landscapers on site along the Templeton Corridor to refresh the foliage for Fall. We recognize that some of the trees along the corridor have died over the years, and for the best interest of wildlife in the area, we will have contracted landscapers to perform some work.

Over the course of several days this week and next week, with working hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., landscapers will be working along the corridor to remove and replace dead/dying trees, add additional soil, and tree stakes to ensure the longevity of the newly planted trees. They will also cut the grass in the meadows adjacent to the corridor and trim the foliage along the walkway that has overgrown. They'll be sure to not trim any flowers along the corridor.

While removing the dead and dying trees, the landscapers will have a chipper on site to chip the wood. Residents closest to the corridor may notice additional noise when the chipper is being utilized.

For your reference, the mowing activities will occur this week, and the trees will be replaced next week following the rain that's currently forecasted for this weekend. If there are any changes to the schedule because of the weather, we will let you know.
