More information about this program:
All households will be presented with self-assessment scorecards that will provide us with the opportunity to evaluate our personal and household emergency preparedness. From this, we can take action to improve our assessment scores while raising awareness of the collective preparedness level of our community.
This kick off meeting is only the start of the first phase of this Community Resiliency Program. More phases will follow and details will be available once they have been developed.
Ultimately, the goal of this Program will to ensure that we, as members of the community, will be prepared should disaster strike, and have the resources needed to help ourselves and each other without relying on the potentially over-extended Richmond Emergency Services.
We look forward to seeing you there and to work alongside you to make our community resilient, should the need arise.
